CBR600F 4K WALLPAPERS
Bought this as my first bike after passing DAS. Re-tune your attitude and get the thing revving and it’s fast enough. Make a mistake, and you get the chance to correct it. Still on original battery, clutch, brake lines and shocks. Not convinced the finish is as bullet proof as reputation suggests. Another thing I am not happy with, it’s the pillion’s accommodation.

The power delivery is smooth, where the Kwaker could be 4o bit fierce at times, all this adds up to some serious confidence, which is what I REALLY needed at this point. The braided hoses have been fantastic and I can’t wait to try them on the track this year. Mine is same year and rattles at start up. It’s looks and styling are great, in my view anyway. The handling is well balanced and I find I can throw it around the twisties with confidence. The fuel consumption is average. Read what they have to say and what they like and dislike about the bike below. It’s really comfy, light and fast with excellent protection from the weather. The ‘comfort’ score below is that with the new TCP fairing fitted.
Skip to main content. Lovely all rounder, working well on two trips to Europe, and carrying me 15 miles each day to work. It’s also very versitile, plenty of fun on a Sunday blast but I also do a 3 hour journey on a Sunday and back again on a Friday and apart from a slight wrist ache, the bike is excellent for distance. Farewell Honda, I’m seeing Kawasaki now. Yes it was “bland” when new, but people forget it was a Honda, which means it’s “ideal” now.
Later Triumph TTs are better but the handling and brakes have never been in doubt.
The early Honda injectors are not clockwork, but they are very robust, and even if the engine lacks culture, it’s very predictable and smooth. Get a rear mudflap thingy if you buy one though, always got well covered in rain and mud on my back in crap weather, or take the missus! As my first real bike, this is a dream. No driver 4l like cbt600f or traction control. I have used an USB charger, but this can put too much pressure on the charging system, especially during very hot days in heavy traffic.
The engine “rattle” may just be more a characteristic noise than a problem. Mirrors are a little bit cheap-ish too. This vehicle is in a very well presentable condition and is ready to ride. Any way bike only done 4K miles or so, but refuses to use oil or anything else. Enjoy the great handling that suits my riding style. Fuel pump failed twice.
Fast, confidence inspiring, comfy. As per the cam chain tensioner and rectifier. Out on the motorway I clocked
