Summary With this pack, it is the best option for when having no hardware DVD decoder.
Codecs Supported by Windows Media Player
Interlaced encoding started with WMV3, but Microsoft abandoned it wibdows work was initiated on a succeeding video standard. The only one difference I noticed compared to WMP 11 install was the unusable Pause button always greyed out. When running the file it insists on SDK 9. DLL and will also properly regsvr32 them into the registry.
